From the ashes of Guns N’ Roses and legendary grunge rockers Stone Temple Pilots comes Velvet Revolver. Reclaiming their rock god-like status, Matt Sorum, Slash, and Duff McKagan formed this power-house band with the help snake-hipped singer Scott Weiland. They took glam trash-rock to obscene new heights, exemplified by the chugging guitar rock of “Slither” from their hit debut album “Contraband.”
