Biography
Knee high to a grasshopper may very well be the best description in the quest for how long Becki's been at her craft. Since she was old enough to stand by her mamma’s side on the pulpit at church, this preacher’s kid has been singing. Spending her youth singing gospel, southern gospel, bluegrass, and old time music, Becki found her life’s path veering from her love of music, but quickly rekindled, and blossomed in her abilities, with a vocal range that harkens back to the tunes of her past, but newly embraces country, blues, jazz and folk.

From sultry lows to crooning highs, Becki’s voice lends an air of soul to each song. She started writing at a very young age and has had her poetry and short stories published several times. Songwriting came as naturally as poetry and once she started playing guitar, she realized that the songs found her.
