Biography
Hailing from San Francisco, CA Wee Willie Walker and the Anthony Paule Soul Orchestra epitomize the time-honored, authentic spirit of American Soul Music. In 2015 they met and made their debut public appearance at the perpetually revered Porretta Soul Festival, in Porretta, Italy. Inspired by their magic of that performance and immediate mutual respect, they agreed to continue working together on a permanent basis.
The group is currently gearing up for the release of their first recording collaboration, AFTER A WHILE. Much of today’s music seems to be incomplete, as far as honest, emotional vocal expressions are concerned, and the listener is often left needing more. AFTER A WHILE fills that need, and stands alone. Relatable, empathetic songwriting; pure, heart-sung vocals; and supportive, passionate instrumental performances seduce the listener’s ear with unexpected bliss. Wee Willie Walker and The Anthony Paule Soul Orchestra are assured to be popular on Blues, Soul/Blues, and Americana radio, as well as continuing to be a festival circuit favorite.

WEE WILLIE WALKER
A Soulman’s Soulman, unrivaled singer WWW sets the bar high for those who wish to climb aboard the SoulTrain. Born in Mississippi, raised in Memphis, and currently residing in Minnesota, where Willie has persevered in the vibrant Minneapolis music scene. In 2002 Walker put out a self-titled record, leading to fronting local band The Butanes, and Willie has been mesmerizing festival audiences in the US, Europe and South America, ever since. In the early 60s as a member of gospel’s Redemption Harmonizers, Willie developed the glorious, sublime voice we hear today. In 1967, friends in Memphis, introduced Willie to the outstanding R&B, and Soul label, Goldwax Records. Goldwax later leased four of his recorded sides, for commercial release on the Chicago-based Checker Records. Most recently, Willie has earned three Blues Music Award nominations; and put him on Living Blues Magazine’s Editor’s Top 10 Picks for 2015. Willie won Living Blues Magazine Awards for Best Comeback Album of 2016; and Soul Blues Album of 2016. Walker’s voice is nothing shy of a soul-defining epiphany. You can hear passion, peace, love and pain in each spellbinding phrase. Willie subtly coaxes the listener’s ear through a range of heart-melting emotions one usually feels only from a lover. Can it get any better than this? No!
