Biography

Born and raised in Austin, TX this cowgirl has done it all. A mother of three and grandmother to 4. Trish England performed her first singing solo in an elementary play called, "Let's Hear It For George" in 1976. Although only in the 3rd grade at the time, she realized that God had blessed her with a gift. The roar and praise from the crowd was a given, but the smiles on the faces in the audience stole her heart. Over the next several years she performed in plays and sang in the church choir.
However, it wasn't until she moved to Farmington, NM in 1993 that her talent would really shine through. She became a member at a local church's praise and worship team and traveled the Four Corners are singing in churches and performing at revivals. At that time she was working during the day as a bookkeeper for a Karaoke Club. One night, she got up and sang at the club. As luck would have it, the owner of one of the local radio stations was in the room and heard her sing. Liking what he heard, he asked her if sh'ed like to "open" for a concert he was planning and of course Trish said , "YES!" What a surprise for her to realize that the concert would feature Pam Tillis. She would also open for Toby Keith and Mark Chestnut.
This led her to enter and win many karaoke contests and she was a 2-time winner of the "Jimmy Dean True Value Country Music Showdown". Additionally, her singing talents led her to performances at weddings, beauty pageants, rodeos and races. The highlight of her career was when she was approached to participate in a traveling show called, "He's Alive", a play put on by local churches on hopes of spreading the good news of Jesus!
Trish would later return to her home state of Texas to peruse her singing dream. She became a member of the Lone Star Music Association and met a lot of wonderful poeple seeking the same dream. She performed for every opportunity, even at the popular, Rodeo City Music Hall.
Now Trish England resides in the great state of North Carolina. She attends church at Temple Baptist Church in Gastonia where she is once again on a dynamic praise and worship team and has a Southern Gospel music ministry. She has become a recording artist for the Son Sound West Record Label. Trish has 3 CD recordings and is releasing her very first single to Southern Gospel radio this year. Her dream is to always make people smile when she's on stage. She always makes an impression everywhere she sings with her high energy, stage presence and her amazing and powerful voice!
