“No one sings like Stella Prince,” says Grammy-winning producer and steel guitarist Steve Fishell (Dolly Parton, John Prine, Mavis Staples). “I was transported the first time I heard her and I bet you will be too.”

Self-produced, Stella recorded a handful of songs for her Dear Future Me EP live at the legendary Sound Stage Studios where she worked with Fishell. Stella’s EP is, “written from a place of sadness, wondering if there is any chance that in the future I will lose the insecurities I grew up with. I wonder if I'll ever be confident, not filled with doubt and worry. Who knows who my future self will be, and what I'll think of her.” Prince has already demonstrated her promise for giving voice to a young generation, synthesizing influences like Karen Carpenter, Joni Mitchell, and Emmylou Harris into a deeply honest writing and singing style. In the past year, Stella’s star has really taken off. Since moving to Nashville in 2023, she has played hundreds of shows across the country and sold out her first international tour of the UK this Fall, being the youngest performer to headline multiple venues. She has showcased at Folk Alliance, AmericanaFest, Ireland’s Folk Conference, and has received support from outlets such as BBC Sounds, Nashville Scene, Tennessee Tribune, Girls Life Magazine, Mix Magazine, Music City Magazine, among many others. In May 2023, Stella started Nashville’s first all-female Folk/Americana showcase, Stella & Friends, presented by Change The Conversation — an organization that fights gender inequality in the music business— which takes place monthly. Stella & Friends was also selected to be a part of AmericanaFest 2023, and traveled to NY’s Bitter End and London’s Spice of Life.
