SongDriven Media was founded in 2013 by hit songwriter and producer Kenny Lamb and music industry executive and songwriter entrepreneur Andrea Standley to create a company and concept that addresses the following:

FACT: There are more great songs written than there are recording artists to record them.

QUESTION: How do you save these songs from these hit song graveyards, honor the songwriters who write them and get them into the mainstream?

SOLUTION: The new SongDriven format we call hits without artists releases.

There is room for these songs on radio, in the charts, award shows and more. Why do these songs need to be associated with an artist or band in order to be heard and played on mainstream radio or honored at music award shows?

Artists and their producers listen to songs every day until they hear a song they want to record. Often what they hear is as good or better than what the artist and producer will eventually record. So we asked ourselves why a quality recording, created to highlight the song and songwriter, can’t get accepted and played on radio and recognized at award shows within a new category? They have “New Artist” categories; why not “New Song & Songwriter” categories?

Why not, indeed!

SongDriven Christian Vol. 1 is the first of many of these new releases to come, and the first step in bringing these wonderful songs and songwriters to the world, the mainstream charts and award shows.

Since an artist name is often required for radio, just look for SONGDRIVEN and let the songs speak for themselves.
