Biography
With his third full-length CD, one of Boston's most prolific and respected singer-songwriters offers a collection of beautifully crafted and keenly observed songs that contemplate love, romance, and family from the perspective of middle age. Writing in varied styles, including folk, bluegrass, and old-school jazz, Randall explores with insight and humor the experiences that give meaning to the relationships of couples growing older together. Rough and Polished Stones features the harmonies of Randall's talented daughters, and performing partners, Emma and Grace Kromm, in addition to the work of several top area instrumentalists. Randall plays guitar and bass on all tracks.
