Barenaked Ladies are five guys dressed up in irony and attitude, with a knack for crafting exuberant pop-rock hits. The Ladies are oddballs that rock, mixing off-center lyrics with on-target melodies—and an occasional detour into geek-rap—to create a catalog of tunes that are goofily romantic and seriously funny. Pinch My Bluegrass is a kickin’ collection of inspired bluegrass musicianship and vocal virtuosity, jammin’ with all the loopy style and giddy energy of pop’s quirkiest band. Guitar, mandolin and banjo take on the Ladies’ mischievous folk-rock, mixing up music that’s a genre unto itself—“barenaked bluegrass.”
