Biography
Hailing from the bluegrass-rich area of the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia, Nothin’ Fancy spent years sharing the stage with the world’s greatest bluegrass acts since they formed in 1994. Audiences quickly recognized their talents and unique sound, thus Nothin’ Fancy continues to develop their huge fan base after each appearance. Nothin’ Fancy is comprised of singer/songwriter Mike Andes on mandolin, Gary Farris on guitar, Mitchell Davis on banjo, Tony Shorter on bass, and Chris Sexton on fiddle. With strong vocals and energetic instrumentation, Nothin’ Fancy projects a friendly down-home manner on stage synonymous with their name.
