"THE HOSTS OF CHRISTMAS PAST"


Grammy-balloted Indie artist Luanne Hunt follows up her award-winning 2013 holiday single, "If Christmas Were Mine," with a new seasonal song titled, "The Hosts of Christmas Past." The tune pays tribute to legendary singers, Gene Autry, Burl Ives, Nat King Cole and Bing Crosby, who left behind a legacy of the some of the greatest holiday music of all time.


Hunt, who wrote "The Hosts of Christmas Past," says a nod to this incredible artists is long overdue and believes her recording will resonate with listeners of all ages and musical tastes.


The song was co-produced by Hunt and renowned producer Eric Uglum (Alison Krauss, Ron Block, Ralph Stanley, Nickel Creek). It features stellar performances by Hal Ratliff (former keyboard player for the Righteous Brothers), Austin Ward (bass player for Lee Ann Womack) and several other notable musicians, who all have shared the stage with A-list entertainers.


Over her 20 year career as a recording artist, Hunt has scored numerous No. 1 hits on European charts. In 2009, she landed on the Grammy ballot in two categories. Most recently, the Southern California resident earned a nomination for "Best Holiday Song" 2013 from the American Songwriting Association for her tune, "If Christmas Were Mine."
