Biography

Wild & Blue was founded by noted mandolin and fiddle player David Harvey in October of1988, after he left Larry Sparks & The Lonesome Ramblers. David drafted the talents of his wife, Jan Harvey, and her sister, Jill Snider, to complete their vocal trio, as well as the band’s rhythm section. John Smith joined the group in January of 1991 as banjo player. Heirloom, Wild & Blue’s first release with Pinecastle Records, will give you a taste of all this band has to offer – clear, soulful singing, sizzling instrumental work, and plenty of excitement and drive.
