Biography

Richard Page is best known as the lead singer/bassist of the multi-platinum group Mr. Mister (Broken Wings, Kyrie). Page is also a successful writer/producer who has written songs for many diverse artists, such as Madonna, Hall and Oats, Leona Lewis and Josh Groban, among many others. Over a twenty five year career, Page has had hundreds of songs recorded, written three number one songs, had a number one album, Welcome to the Real World, and recorded three highly regarded solo albums, including Shelter Me. He also was one half of the critically acclaimed group, 3rd Matinee. With one of the most distinctive voices in the business, Richard has spent the last five years performing his classic hit songs while touring the world with Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band.

Although known mostly as a pop/rock artist, having spent the first 10 years of his life in the Deep South, Richard has always a fan of country music. When listening to today's country music, he explains, "There are so many similarities to the music Mr. Mister was writing and recording in the 80's, but with different instrumentation." So after a few a couple of song writing trips to Nashville, Richard found himself really liking what he came up with there. So much so, he sequestered himself into his studio and began to write his heart out. Please enjoy!
