Album Description:
When Lester Flatt formed his own group in February 1969, Paul Warren became the senior member and one of the foundations of the group. In the company of Lester, “Uncle Josh” Graves and “Cousin Jake” Tullock, he felt right at home. The performances contained herein were recorded at various times and places between February 1969 and February 1976. They were selected after Paul’s passing from hundreds of tape recordings of live shows and radio broadcasts taken by Lance LeRoy. Because Warren never recorded an album in his forty year career, these recordings are the most substantive collection of Warren’s superb fiddle work.
