Mountain Fever Records is excited to announce the new single, “Growing Lonely,” from Appalachian Smoke‘s upcoming self-titled album release. The melody begins slow and introspective, with the sound of the full band growing as the distance between the narrator and his hopes grow further. It is a daunting song that lightens through banjo and mandolin additions.

“The time of harvest in the fall triggers a heap of senses in one’s mind that can uproot so many memories. ‘Growing Lonely’ is a song that is written about a seasoned farmer that finds himself harvesting the same results emotionally despite his attempt to sow new seed,” says B.J. Taylor.

The track features B.J. Taylor on lead vocal and octave mandolin; Mikel Laws on banjo; Jamie Mason on guitar; Kenneth Rymer on resophonic guitar; and Tim Williams on bass. The song was engineered, mixed, and mastered by Aaron Ramsey.

We hope you enjoy this phenomenal new track and add it to your playlists today! Please let us know if we can be of any assistance with your programming needs.

Sincerely,
Mountain Fever Music Group
