The band critics hail as the next big thing to cross over to the Jam Band circuit! What started as an OFF DAYS party has developed from an underground movement into a international scene uniting musicians and fans from across the musical spectrum. Funk, Soul, Hip-Hop, serious jamin' and Rock n Roll are just some of the places this band goes.

Led by Mike Clip Payne and featuring a revolving cast of the greatest funk musicians in history and an all star list of supporting musicians straight otta da Woody! Rock n Roll Hall of Fame members Mike Kidd Funkadelic Hampton, Garry Starchild Shider, Billy Bass Nelson, Skeet Curtis, Boogie Mosson have all been in the bandas well as mainstays bassist Lige Curry and drummer Gabe Gonzalez from the P-Funk Camp. Members of the Mobs hometown Woodstock Posse include, Zach Alford (Gwen Stephani), Adam Widoff and Chicken Burke (Big Lovely), Peter Keys (James Otto), Joey Eppard (3), Stephanie McKay (Mos Def), The Wefunk Horns Paul Henderson, Shane Kirsch, and Dean Jones.

You never know whats gonna happen or just who may show up as part of the 420FM, the band has been everyting from a 6 piece Psychedelic Funk Rock Band to an 18 piece Funk-estra. A Whose Who list of legendary performers and up and coming artists, George Clinton, Fred Wesley from the JB's, Jazzman Stanley Jordan, the Bad Brains founders Dr. Know and Daryl Jenifer, Stokholm Syndrome's Eric McFadden,Violinist Lili Haydn, Kendra Foster, Sativa,Dj Logic, and the Muzik Mafia's Jon Nicholson, James Otto and Jerry Navarro have all Mobed up.

In 2005 the 420 Funk Mob returned to the Church of Universal Love & Music's Freedom Festival on July 3th in Acme, Pennsylvania In the late summer they ventured to Europe for the Audiosoul Festival in Heidelberg Germany. 4000 people packed themselves into the courtyard of the 1200 year old castle to catch the 420 Funk with their special guests DRUGS:The Mis-Americans, Fred Wesley, George Clinton, Kidd Funkadelic, Kendra Foster and International Pony. The band returned to America in time to take part in the promotional tour for the debut of George Clinton's C-Kunsphruzy Label and the release of his first album in 10 years. 420FM leader Clip Paynebecame the 5th member of the Red Hot Chili Peppers when they did a tribute to Pfunk durring George's 50th Anniversary celebration at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles.

Their latest release Alive in Spain captures the 420 Funk Mob's European Debut at the Chillin Drone Festival in Zaragaoza Spain as part of the 25th anniversary of Spanish Radio 3. This 3-cd set captures the fire as the band tears through a 3 hour plus set before a sold out crowd of 21-25 year olds who danced until 4:20 in the morning "Jambase reviewed them as
