Biography
Kevin began this journey by listening over and over to the singer-songwriters of his youth, the usual folks, Lennon and McCartney, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon and the like. Although Kevin's taste has expanded over many different musical borders since then, at the core is the sound of a voice telling a musical story to the accompaniment of an acoustic guitar.

Kevin's second Soona Songs, Inc. release "Patterns of Blue" was recorded in 2015 and released in 2016. Here are the details:

Kevin has maintained an uninterrupted love affair with the contemporary folk music sound he first heard as a child in the 1960’s. He has never stopped being a fan, first and foremost. However, around the age of eighteen, he discovered that in addition to learning how to play some of his favorite songs from records and the radio, he could write songs of my own. Over the past forty years or so, he has written numerous songs, performed alone and with others, and has now just recorded his third CD.

Kevin's songs tend to be populated with a variety of (sometimes) endearing, left-of-center characters, who tell their quirky stories in ways moving and amusing. He is into language and melody … and it probably wouldn’t be a song of his if it didn’t have finger-style guitar.
